Guy Mucklow and Jamie Turner set up Postcode Anywhere in 2001, having recognised the potential of using the internet to provide a much more efficient means of delivering data.
Postcode Anywhere is now one of the leading providers of cloud-based address management services, processing millions of transactions for some of the largest organisations around the world and accounting for around 50% of all addresses captured on UK ecommerce websites.
Each day our 9,000+ customers rely on our services to perform millions of address look ups on their ecommerce sites and CRM systems. Our experiences using big data got us thinking... what if we could use the power of big data to address the problem of ecommerce conversion improvement? What if we took a totally different approach and created something very different? That’s why we invented Triggar, a new big data platform that puts the massive power of big data into the hands of ecommerce managers. Take the guess work out of the equation, let the data do the talking and turn visitors into customers. Visit the Triggar website to learn more.
Address data is very dynamic with over 10% changes each year not uncommon. By centrally managing this data and allowing our customers to easily connect to it, we were not only able to significantly reduce the cost of providing the data compared to traditional CD-based services, but we also removed the headache of managing the update process.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do. It remains fundamental to the way in which we think and work and has, we feel, helped us to establish our position as one of the main players in our market in a relatively short time.
