Who are we?
Postcode Anywhere was set up in 2001 by Guy Mucklow and Jamie Turner who recognised the potential of using the internet to provide a much more efficient method for delivering data than traditional on-premise applications, which were both expensive to produce, rapidly obsolete and required manual input to keep up to date.
The technology was initially targeted at the e-commerce market where the benefits of faster data entry, better data quality and improved delivery of goods ordered online, saw rapid growth in the business.
Postcode Anywhere dominate the cloud-based delivery of address validation services processing over 3 million transactions daily for some of the largest organisations around the world. In the e-commerce market the company has over 8,000 customers and supplies over 50% of all addresses captured online in the UK through its platform.
Known for innovation, Postcode Anywhere believes that its new Capture Plus service will transform the way that address data is captured in North America by enabling users to quickly and seamlessly validate their details in seconds, as opposed to manually entering their address and confirming after the event.
Meet the management team
Guy Mucklow - CEO
Before founding Postcode Anywhere, Guy was finance director for the family property business, A&J Mucklow Group Plc, which he left at the height of the dotcom boom to realise a lifelong ambition to establish and manage his own company. Prior to this, Guy spent over 10 years as a fund manager at Invesco Plc. He co-founded Postcode Anywhere with Jamie Turner in 2001. Guy is a chartered financial analyst, chartered secretary and holds an MBA. A passionate follower of Worcester Rugby Club and sometime golfer, he is married with three children.
Jamie Turner - CTO
Before founding Postcode Anywhere, Jamie was IT manager for the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, where he set a new record as the youngest person to join them in a senior managerial role. In 2000 he met Guy Mucklow, who shared Jamie’s passion for innovation, and together they founded Postcode Anywhere. Jamie holds a first-class honours degree in Computing Science from Aston University, where he received a faculty accolade for ‘an outstanding contribution to technological innovation’.
Ed Moseley - CFO
Ed Moseley joined Postcode Anywhere in February 2009 as Finance Manager. His remit includes the day-to-day accounting management, external and internal financial controls and legal compliance. He is also Company Secretary and responsible for the implementation of financial policy and processes. Prior to his appointment with Postcode Anywhere, Ed gained extensive experience in various financial roles working for the utility giant npower. He attained his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2005. Ed lives in rural Malvern with his wife Karen and two young children. He enjoys cycling and surfing and spending quality time with his family.
Rachael Mackwell - Operations Director
Rachael has worked for Postcode Anywhere since the company started and manages both the Sales and Support teams. She also manages the organization's relationship with strategic accounts, including Capgemini, Royal Mail Group and Government agencies. She has worn various "hats" at Postcode Anywhere, but now concentrates on looking after our biggest customers. She prefers spending time with her husband, whom she met at ballet class when she was three, and is a very besotted mother to Lottie.
Rob Willis - Senior Marketing Manager
Rob Willis joined Postcode Anywhere in September 2008. He was appointed to head-up our young, dynamic and highly creative marketing team. Leading a team of graphic designers, copywriters and strategic marketers, Rob has responsibilities for project managing Postcode Anywhere’s entire range of external marketing communications including collateral for trade shows and expos, e-shots and website content. At 29, with a BSc in Marketing and Human Resource Management Rob already has a proven track record in the multi-channel environment and has loads of experience in consumer, B2B and service sector marketing.

Using the Cloud, Postcode Anywhere delivers data from New England, to New Zealand, to Newfoundland and England. The company has over 8000 customers, including many Fortune 500 organizations and is proud to have long relationships with many United Kingdom Government agencies and to be a supplier to The Princes Trust, Royal Mint and Rolls Royce.
